Onsite Work Policy

Trainees in the Su and Wu labs (graduate students and postdocs) should be onsite at least three days per week.

Most of our day-to-day work can be done remotely, and that isn’t changing. But Chunlei and I believe there is an important training component that comes from more frequent interactions – with us and with each other – and that is hard to get any other way.

A few notes:

• Exceptions can be made as needed. If something comes up that requires working from home, just clear it with Andrew or Chunlei first.
• This isn’t meant to be super strict. The goal is simply more opportunities for trainees to interact with us and with each other on a regular basis.
• Everyone else is encouraged, but not required, to come in when they can.
• Planned time away follows the holiday and vacation policy.
