A look back at 2016 for BioGPS

BioGPS opened 2016 with a publication in Nucleic Acids Research, right after the New Year holiday. Throughout the year, new designs for the site were being created, reviewed, adjusted, reviewed, adjusted, and more review/adjustments in anticipation of a site redesign for 2017. Happy New Year from BioGPS!

It’s been an interesting year for BioGPS. Looking back at 2015, the BioGPS paper was cited 754 times according to google scholar. Of those citations, 137 were in 2015. The BioGPS application paper about BioGPS and MyGene.info from 2013 was cited 40 times this year for a total of 96 citations.
